The City of
Winchester Fire & Rescue Department operates an Internet Website for
the purpose of conveying information about Fire & Rescue career
and volunteer personnel of the Department. A part of that Website
allows interested persons to acquire City Employment Applications by
releasing their names and mailing addresses.
Pursuant to the
requirements stated in Section 2.0-380(B), of the Code of Virginia,
1950, as amended, the following information is provided to all users
of the City's Website:

information collected by this Website is the name and address of
the person who seeks an Employment Application, or those who
submit their information through our contact page.

information that will be automatically collected by accessing
the City's Website is the type of web browser you are using.

and address information collected from those persons who provide
it will be used to mail a City Employment Application, and for
no other purpose.

may place a small cookie on your computer if you are downloading
documents from our site. You will be required to fill
out a form that contains your name and contact information. That
information will be placed in a cookie on your computer, so you
will only have to enter your information once.
